How painting came to me,
Initially, my first passion was engineering and specially electrical and computer engineering. Naturally it came accross as patents and inventions since I have been working in research and development for micro- processors design. But, the abstract level of creation in that field happens at such a different scale than our normal lives that I had to find other channels of creation, something I can feel, something I can see or even something I can touch.
Advanced Electrical or computer engineering has become so sofisticated, than none of us can ever touch or see our creations. Sometimes they just are ideas or maybe a combination of thougths. It's exactly the same situation as being a music composer and being deaf. You know exactly what the music should be, but you can't ever hear it.
Well, as a visual person, observing and understanding the world through my eyes is an important part of my life. Thus, expressing my feelings with forms and shapes came to me naturally. On the another hand, drawing is the ultimate form of expression since it is also the oldest known form of art, maybe with music as well.
My artistic awakening happened in summer 2001 witch the help of Sonia Dupuch. At that time, my head was so full of bursting imagination in so many directions that I created Genesis.
